The breakfast had a huge selection. Cocktails in the American bar were served with lovely nibbles every evening. I ate in the bistro attached to the hotel one evening. The food was excellent. The level of service matched the hotel.

The room seemed dated, though it was comfortable and charming. When I arrived, help with bags was unavailable.

faulty thermostat limited selection

I consider the climate control to be substandard. The thermostat was non-functional, causing discomfort. I was disappointed by the limited variety at breakfast. I found the selection rather basic for a hotel of this supposed calibre. Bacon seemed boiled and the pastries tasted stale.

The service and attention to detail was fantastic. i couldn't have asked for more. the room was fantastic, it had a separate area for luggage and clothes. It made such a difference!

I noticed the breakfast could be improved slightly. I would have liked more variety.
